Brushfire feels like ignition mid-motion — not the spark, not the aftermath, but the moment everything begins to move at once. A smoky gray center opens like a clearing while vibrant embers of orange and acid green flicker and scatter around it. Quick white gestures sweep across the surface like wind cutting through heat.
There’s tension between chaos and rhythm here. The marks feel instinctual — flung, dragged, carved — yet they gather into a circular pull, as if the painting is breathing outward from its core. It’s fire as transformation. Destruction as renewal.
